A pioneer of carrier-neutral colocation since its inception in 1997, the founders of Colo Solutions designed and built data centers across the country. They chose the Orlando location since the building was the de facto telecom hotel sitting at the intersection of multiple fiber routes. Over time, multiple carriers and providers consolidated into Colo Solutions’ space which resulted in Colo Solutions being one of the most connected data centers in central Florida offering full redundancy and edge computing capability to companies having, or desiring, a presence in central Florida.
In addition to colocation services, Colo Solutions expanded to offer virtual desktop hosting as well as virtual data center environments for companies seeking to reduce cap-ex equipment cost, but reluctant to enter the public cloud. On top of multiple carrier choices, our power infrastructure continues to provide “always on” service with Priority 1 via the hospital grid electrical service as well as redundant UPS and generator backup systems with automatic transfer switches to provide seamless service in the event of power loss.
