Paula Uselis joined Colo Solutions in 2002 as a co-owner and Chief Operating Officer. She was then promoted in 2012 to President and CEO, where her 33 years of experience in business development, marketing and corporate communications, software engineering, and financial operations have played an integral part in the company’s continued growth.
Prior to joining Colo Solutions, Paula founded Cornerstone Marketing in 1997, a full service marketing company whose main customer base consisted of high-tech companies. Prior to that Paula was Vice President of DSL Marketing and Operations for Westell Technologies in the North American and international markets from 1993 to 1997. Her previous experiences include initial company start-ups and large corporate environments in industries that include telecommunications, data communications, application software, medical operations and banking. She is a graduate of Auburn University where she holds bachelor degrees in math, computer science, and education.
Ed Nuckols has been with Colo Solutions since its inception in 1997. He has more than 18 years in the technology industry with in-depth experience in Network Engineering and most recently in developing the Colo Solutions Cloud Architecture. Ed is responsible for overseeing data center operations and cloud system architecture/management. His knowledge of networking and Information Technology has positioned Colo Solutions as a leader in data center colocation and cloud services.
Before coming to Colo Solutions Ed held a position with Excellence Online where he began his career as a customer support technician and quickly expanded into a Server and Network Engineer. Ed maintains several industry certifications with both Juniper and Cisco. He also holds certifications with Microsoft, including Microsoft Solutions Associate. Ed attended Valencia College where he earned an AA in 2012 and then began work on his Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and Network Administration at Western Governors University with an expected graduation date of May 2016.
As Manager of Cloud Services Information Technology, Kevin Doel is responsible for leading the daily operations of Colo Solutions’ Cloud Operations Technical Support. In this role, Kevin directs Colo Solutions Support Team, in cooperation with the Infrastructure Architecture group and Sales, to ensure appropriate project scoping and expectations for all service opportunities. Prior to joining Colo Solutions, Kevin owned a consulting business that focused on project management, Remote FX and SharePoint Site Development. Kevin previously worked for Attachmate Corporation where he held positions of Systems Engineering Manager and Sales Technical Manager. Kevin holds certifications in ITIL Foundation V3 Certified, BCS from The Chartered Institute in the UK. He also holds an AS degree in Computer Science from St Petersburg College and a BA in Management from National Louis University.
As Security Administrator for Colo Solutions, Debra Wolfe is responsible for the security of the datacenter including access card management, video surveillance and daily physical evaluation of the datacenter. Additionally, Debra provides Level 1 Technical Support for Colo Solutions data center and cloud services along with trouble ticket management. She serves as the primary interface to thousands of cloud and data center users.
Prior to joining Colo Solutions, Debra was a manager with Baytree National Golf Links where she was responsible for daily operations and customer service while overseeing 60 employees and a facility with yearly revenues of $1.7 million. Debra holds an AA in Business Administration from Brevard Community College and an AS in Court Reporting from Orlando College.
Quenton Quarterman provides Level 2 Technical Support to Colo Solutions’ cloud and data center customers. Quenton has over 10 years’ experience in supporting customers with patience and in-depth knowledge of Microsoft products. Prior to joining Colo Solutions, Quenton was a Field Engineer for Rockwell supporting automated systems and networks, giving him first-hand knowledge of data center operations. Before joining Rockwell, Quenton gained his knowledge of Microsoft server and desktop administration and Microsoft exchange services over an 8 year period while working for the Orange County Public Schools; and Email support while with CenturyLink. Quenton holds a B.S. in Network Management from DeVry University. He also holds the certifications in A+ and Net+, and is currently working on Cisco Security certification.
